Easter Celebration

 

We are so excited about our Easter Celebration! We are doing things just a bit different this year, in a very good way!

We will be doing some crafts, singing some songs, with and without instruments, and reading some books about Jesus. Something new we are doing this year is watching an episode of The Chosen, season 1 episode 3 called "Jesus loves the little children". This episode is ONLY about Jesus and the children. It is a great episode where Jesus has the children help him make things while he answers their questions, tells them stories and encourages them to always ask questions and tell others about Him. 

It wouldn't be a party, without Ms. Jenni taking fun pictures of the kids. Keep that in mind when picking out clothes for the day. These pictures should have fun spring play clothes since we will be doing the spring photoshoot the following week. You can send dress clothes for those pictures and just do a little less dressy for party day. 

Each family is asked to bring a treat to share with everyone. It can be a healthy treat or a fun treat. We aren't going to regulate WHAT the snack is, but please let us know what you will be bringing so we can let others know. That way we don't end up with five packages of cupcakes! 

We will not be doing an egg hunt or coloring eggs this year. We stopped doing the egg hunt back in 2020 but kept the coloring of eggs. With the prices of eggs these days, it just doesn't make sense. We will have a fabulous day without those two things.
