Spring Photoshoot

It is SPRING PHOTOSHOOT time again! It is always an exciting time to get out and enjoy the spring sunshine, capture some great smiles and share them with their parents.

In December when we did our Christmas photoshoot, we discovered the BEST way for our school to do BIG photoshoots is to plan an entire week so we aren't rushed and we can get the best quality for each family.

The reasons behind that are many. One reason is one of our teachers is the photographer, that means one less teacher is able to supervise and teach the rest of the students.

A second reason is because we aren't just snapping one quick picture like that do at most schools. Ms. Jenni takes a number of poses of each student AND takes pictures of siblings or families together, as well. If we tried to do the entire school like that on the same day, you can imagine how some of the pictures would not be as great since children get tired as the day goes on.

A third reason is working with preschoolers and getting quality pictures is no small feat. It takes TIME and great effort on the part of the photographer. We are so blessed to have Jenni doing this for us since the kids know and love her, she knows how to make them smile their real smiles while she captures the real THEM for their parents, AND she is REALLY good at it. We need to give HER a break each day so she is fresh for the next set of students.

Parent's are asked to bring the ENTIRE outfit on Monday, April 10. If your child is a girl and there are special things for her hair, please pack those along with a brush and/or comb. In fact, it would be a GREAT idea to have one in their bag to leave at school for impromptu photo sessions.  Once your child has had their spring photos taken, those clothes will be sent home.

Siblings will have their pictures taken the same day so that after taking individual pictures, pictures of them together can be taken as well. We do NOT want to have to dress them up AGAIN on a separate day just to take pictures with their siblings. Less frustration on everyone's part.

Each parent will be sent the photo's after she has edited them. She is very quick and usually has them done the day the photos are taken. They will be great quality and you can upload them wherever you get your photos printed.

Remember, There's Adventure Around Every Corner!
