Summer Adventure Camp 2023

 

Our Summer Adventure Camp is going to be like no other camp we have had before!!! We will have 10 weeks of wild and crazy FUN while learning some core values to carry us into our next adventure! 

We will be doing Prodigies music classes each week and learn music basics and how to play some fun instruments. We will use the TV and tablets for different age groups. 

We will be working on one big craft a week. It may take two or more days to complete, depending on each child's skill level. Children will be able to make MORE crafts during the week, but we are going to highlight a special craft each week. 

Children will be encouraged to try out different types of art; drawing, water colors, painting with other types of paint and canvas, etc. They will be able to work on it multiple times during the week.

We will have AT LEAST one water day. All children need to bring a swimsuit and towel (please apply sunscreen each day BEFORE coming, we will go outside daily, even when we don't play in water.) 

We will have game days each week. Our goal is to have a full day of games BUT we may end up doing games daily, IF the children want to take a break from another activity and play a game with friends. We love games and know that it builds on so many skills, including working together and friendship. 

We will be reading and focusing on one special book a week. Doing coloring pictures, puzzles, activities and games to help us learn the core values in each book. Some of the topics are family, unconditional love, seasons of life, being truthful, seeking truth, conservationism, following rules, honestly, integrity, and MORE! 

Please pack their lunch, we will have lunch around noon each day. Depending on the heat, we might do picnic style lunches outside. Chances are, with Texas heat, we will be inside where it is cool!

Full-day option is PERFECT for parents who work. Our afternoons are rest time for younger students and quiet time/reading for older students. We will have about an hour and a half in the late afternoons for extra activities before pick up.

Half-day option is PERECT for parents who want their children to have a super fun summer but don't need them gone all day, every day!
